The first player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame from the Negro leagues, Leroy "Satchel" Paige. On the Negro Leagues for over 20 years, Paige jumped on the integration train and joined the Major Leagues. At the tender age of 42, Paige became the oldest rookie ever. His windmill windup and sky-high kick made him a spectacle on major league diamonds.
