Intro by Brad Gilmore: What’s up internets?! I’d like to formally introduce myself and this podcast. My name is Brad Gilmore, I am a radio/TV host in Houston, TX. I have the absolute privilege of working in the professional wrestling business and have now for the past 5 years.

I broke into wrestling as a broadcaster with the WWE Hall of Famer and 5-time 5-time 5-time (I’ll let you finish the rest) Booker T. His company ‘Reality of Wrestling’ has been the flagship of Texas Wrestling for over a decade now as he carries on the great tradition of Houston Wrestling, following in the footsteps of the great Paul Boesch.

I started as a ring announcer, then to the color commentator then, being the co-host of Heated Conversations with Booker which you can download on iTunes (cheap plug, brother!) and now I am a member of the Reality of Wrestling the booking committee. But, imagine sitting in a room on a weekly basis with Booker T and Bruce (well, you know) Prichard to talk and write stories for a wrestling show. To say the very least you learn a lot about the ins and outs of the business and WHY things are done.

That’s the perspective I want to bring to this podcast, I want to talk about what happened, but I want to focus on why it’s happening, and look at the show through the “booking glass” (I should trademark that). Anyways, I hope you enjoy the show. Send all tweets of love or hate to @BradGilmore.
