We cap off the weekend with WWE's biggest event of the summer, Summerslam 2016. This 6-hour event takes over the Barclays center in and performs in front of the ruckus crowd in Brooklyn, NY. Overall show grade: B. An overall fun, productive, and effective show. It may have one or two dips in matches or segments, but overall it did not harm the enjoyment of the show. Majority of the matches were good, overall booking and storylines were kept fresh, and it did its job of keeping the viewers excited for upcoming shows, if not make you interested in tuning into next week.

Winner: No contest. The brawl.
Rating: DUD.

Winner: NEW Champion! Finn Balor. Fastest raising world champion in history.
Rating: Good!

Nikki Bella (Eva Marie’s Replacement), Natalya, & Alexa Bliss vs. Naomi, Becky Lynch, & Carmella
Winner: Nikki, Alexa, and Natalya.
Rating: Solid.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Dean Ambrose.
Rating: Good!

WWE Tag Team Championship
The New Day vs. Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows
Winner: Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows win by DQ. Big E returns.
Rating: Decent. Jon Stewart’s booking was weird.

John Cena vs. AJ Styles
Winner: AJ Styles. CLEAN! He conquers Cena in this feud. 2-0.
Rating: Classic. One of the best matches this year. Fantastic match.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
The Miz vs. Apollo Crews
Winner: The Miz retains.
Rating: Solid.

WWE Women’s Championship :: Dana Brooke banned
Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair
Winner: NEW Champion! Charlotte Flair.
Rating: Really good match!

Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. Jeri-KO aka Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens

Rating: Solid.
