Asuka Debut - Fans Boo Bayley & Sasha Banks - WWE Summerslam 2017

NXT Women's Title Match: Ember Moon vs. Asuka
Rome does formal ring introductions before the match. Ember immediately drops Asuka and nails a dropkick for an early pin attempt. Ember with more offense, forcing Asuka to the floor. Ember goes for the baseball slide but Asuka moves. Asuka continues to try and regroup but Ember stays on her. Asuka with kicks now. Ember fights back and goes to the second turnbuckle, leaping to the floor with a cannonball. Asuka goes down hard. Asuka hits the running hip attack after more back and forth between the two. She ends up going for another hip attack but Ember blocks most of it. Asuka runs into a knee. Ember with a tornado suplex from the second turnbuckle. Asuka still kicks out at 2. Ember with more offense now. Asuka drops her into a kick. Asuka with several brutal kicks to the face now. Ember counters and drives Asuka to the mat for another 2 count. Ember ends up on top again but Asuka cuts her off. More back and forth in the corner. Ember with the big stomp for a 2 count. Ember ends up catching Asuka in The Eclipse out of nowhere for a very close 2 count. Both are down now as the crowd goes wild. Ember goes to the top but Asuka puts the referee in front of her. The referee gets out of the way as Ember leaps for the cross-body. Asuka rolls through and covers for a 2 count. Asuka and the referee argue. Ember takes advantage and nails a big kick for a close 2 count. Ember can't believe it. Fans chant NXT now. Asuka goes for the arm-bar but Ember gets a quick pin attempt. Asuka drops Ember into the Asuka Lock as the crowd pops. Asuka rolls over and tightens the hold. Ember finally taps. After the match, both Superstars are still down as we go to replays. Asuka gets up and clutches the title. The referee raises her arm. Asuka raises the title and stumbles around as we go to more replays. We come back and Asuka is gone. We see a disappointed Ember getting to her feet as the crowd cheers for her. Ember makes her exit.

WWE Summerslam 2017 SmackDown Women's Title Match: Natalya vs. Naomi
The bell rings and they go at it. Natalya with offense early on but Naomi jumps up and runs her over. Naomi runs and slides on her knees, smacking Natalya in the face. Natalya goes to the floor for a breather. Naomi ends up hitting a Blockbuster from the steel steps. The referee counts as we get a replay of the Blockbuster. They come back in and Naomi sells a leg injury. Natalya catapults Naomi from the apron into the steel of the turnbuckle. Naomi falls to the floor and Natalya stands tall in the ring. Natalya goes back to the floor and works Naomi over as the referee counts. Naomi finally fights back after creating an opening. Natalya goes for another discus but Naomi drops her with a kick. Naomi drops Natalya on her face and covers for a 2 count. More back and forth now. Naomi slingshots in with a big leg drop for a 2 count. Natalya ends up getting the Sharpshooter locked after they trade holds. Naomi breaks it. Naomi with more offense but Natalya gets another Sharpshooter locked. Naomi taps and Natalya gets the title. After the match, Natalya takes the title and celebrates. We go to replays. We come back to Natalya taunting an emotional Naomi with the title. Natalya makes her exit and raises the title high.


WWE Summerslam 2017 RAW Women's Title Match: Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss
They lock up and go at it, taking turns on each other. Sasha takes control but Bliss comes back and hits a cross-body. They trade pin attempts. Bliss ends up taking control and aggressively working Banks over. More offense by Bliss. Bliss holds Sasha's head, talks trash in her face and slams her to the mat. Bliss goes to the top but Sasha cuts her off with a right. Bliss chokes Banks from the top and drops her to the mat. Bliss goes on and hits double knees for a 2 count. Bliss also hit a moonsault in that last sequence. She keeps control and goes for another pin attempt. Bliss keeps Sasha grounded now as the referee checks on her. Sasha rolls Bliss up for 2. They get right up and Bliss nails a clothesline for a 2 count. Sasha looks to turn it around in the corner but Bliss chokes her from the corner again. Banks fights her and slams her to the mat. Banks with a sliding knee to the face. Banks makes it back in before the 10 count but Bliss goes right to work. Bliss keeps control and goes to the top for Twisted Bliss but Banks still kicks out at 2. Bliss throws a little tantrum as we get a replay. Banks counters and drops Bliss into the Banks Statement but can't get it hooked. They tangle and Sasha goes back to the Banks Statement. Bliss taps out. After the match, Banks stands tall and celebrates with the title as we go to replays. We come back to The Boss celebrating her win.

Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe (WWE Universal Championship #1 Contender's Match)

Circling, collar and elbow, Reigns grabs a side headlock, Joe shoots him off and wobbles him with a shoulder block. Off the ropes for another, kick to the gut and a slap on the rebound, off the ropes again and this time Roman wipes him out with a shoulder block, sending him outside. To the apron, the Big Dog throws right hands and knocks him off and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Joe with a whip, back elbow, corner enzuigiri, firmly in control, the cover only gets two. Drawing Reings up, knee lift, right hands, jabs and body blows, a forearm, another jab, Roman is stumbling but manages to grab a quick schoolboy pin! Wipeout back elbow gets another quick cover, Samoa laying Mongolian chops in from behind before settling on a neck crank, sweat dripping off his face.

The Big Dog flagging but not failing, reaching for the ropes, pushing up, on one knee and Joe cuts him off with a knee, snap suplex, another cover, just a nearfall! Back to the neck crank, Reigns breaks with body blows, hits the big slicing right, follows it up with the trifecta of lariats but Joe catches the third!

Rock Bottom blocked, the flying lariat connects this time, only two! Corner lariats connecting, off the ropes for the Mafia kick for the big finale, he calls for the Superman Punch but Samoa rolls out of the ring. Roman out after him, thinking Drive-By but Joe clobbers him with a lariat so hard he lands on the apron! Reigns hits a big lariat on the floor in return and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Joe has Reigns by the hair, jawing at him. Trading headbutts, Roman pulls ahead and shifts to punches, charging in, Samoa has the fireman's carry, he slips out, Samoan drop! Big Dog charging, Manhattan Drop, big boot, running senton... just a nearfall!

Joe hooks him for the Rock Bottom, Roman fights out, thinking Moment of Silence, Samoa throwing hands, back to the Rock Bottom, countered with an arm drag, Superman Punch... NOPE!

(RRROOOAAARRR!)

Enter Braun Strowman! He strides to the ring with confidence and yanks Joe out of the ring! Referee John Cone watches warily as Braun turns to face Reigns and climbs in the ring, but Roman meets him with a right hand! Boot from the apron, to the floor, another right and Braun meets him with a knee lift before putting him into the barricade and throwing him in the ring!

Roman Reigns wins by disqualification, one presumes, but referee John Cone didn't stick around to make the call.

Joe stares Strowman down and they go Frye/Takayama on each other! Braun levels the Destroyer with a lariat! Strowman heading back in, he shoves Reigns away and clobbers him in the corner, repeated right hands, choking him with a boot, Samoa is back in and Strowman has a body avalanche for him.

Reigns with a boot up in the corner, slicing right, Joe climbs the turnbuckles and locks the Coquina Clutch on! Braun to the middle of the ring, fading, Roman knocks him down with a Superman Punch! The Big Dog charges in for another and Strowman catches him with a thrust spinebuster! Charging lariat for Joe and the powerslam follows!

Braun goes back to Roman, picks him up and powerslams him right next to Joe! Strowman goes to leave but heads back in and draws Reigns back up again as security floods the ringside area! None of them want to fight the monster among men, however, and he scoops Roman up again for another powerslam!

Strowman leaves as Joe and Reigns writhe in pain on the mat.

We see Angle and Jordan getting ready for their interview on the WWE Network.

Brock Lesnar is still without a challenger at WWE Summerslam after Braun Strowman interfered in tonight’s RAW main event between Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns.

Strowman, who hasn’t been seen since WWE Great Balls Of Fire, came to the ring at the conclusion of tonight’s match and pulled Joe from the ring before setting his sights on Reigns. Joe tried to attack, and Reigns fought back, but Strowman over powered them both and ended RAW standing over the two of them.

Kurt Angle mentioned on his exclusive WWE Network interview that he will have an answer next week as to who will challenge Lesnar. It has been rumored that Lesnar may defend against Joe, Roman and Strowman in a Fatal 4 Way match at Summerslam next month.

WWE SUPERSTAR SHAKE-UP (DRAFT) 2017 PREDICTIONS

The night after WrestleMania, Vince McMahon announced that there would be a superstar shake-up next Monday Night where many stars on the current rosters would be drafted over to opposite rosters.

There are many rumours circulating when it comes to the superstars and where they could be heading to next week, including many of the new recruits who only debuted on the main roster this past week as part of the fall-out from WrestleMania on both Raw and SmackDown. The official WWE Draft took place back in the Summer of 2016 and now that many of the storylines have come to an end, it seems that WWE is hoping to start up some new feuds by switching many of the bigger stars to new rosters.

This switch up will give WWE some much-needed excitement as they begin the Road to SummerSlam in a few weeks time, and will allow the WWE Universe to see many matches that the company has never been able to produce before with some of the NXT stars who were called up a few months ago.

While there are huge amounts of speculation when it comes to the superstars who could be switching rosters, it seems that the following 15 stars are almost certainties to be moved in a few days time.

WWE SummerSlam 2017: 5 WWE Returns that could happen at the PPV Which superstars could make their triumphant return at SummerSlam in Brooklyn?
WWE's biggest events of the year often bring with them an aura of shock and excitement. If they're not going to pull out all the stops for the big 4 PPVs, then what are they saving it for? That's why shows like SummerSlam and WrestleMania are hotbeds for big returns.
just last year at this exact event, we saw the returns of Big E and Nikki Bella as well as the debut of Bayley. So what could we be in store for this year? Here are 5 possibilities.

Number. 1 - Nikki Bella
Could Nikki Bella double down and make it two consecutive SummerSlam returns? She showed up last year replacing the suspended Eva Marie in a multi-woman tag team match. Now, WWE is rolling into Brooklyn again and Nikki is in the midst of a hiatus.
But with her man John Cena back in the fold, it might be the right time for her to jump back into things as well.
She teased a SummerSlam appearance on Twitter during a beef between Cena and Baron Corbin, saying she can't wait to sit front row and see Cena slap Corbin's mouth off his face. Does that definitely mean she'll be involved in something beyond a quick appearance on camera during Cena and Corbin's match?
Of course not. But it doesn't rule it out, and at the very least it confirms she'll be in the building.
Much like a potential Paige return, Nikki's return would bolster the Women's division, presumably that of SmackDown if she sticks on her previous brand.
She's one of the biggest stars in the division and it might finally be time for her to return to her spot near the top.

Number. 2 - The Rock
You might be asking yourself, "What business does The Rock have at SummerSlam? He's not making a full-time WWE return anytime soon. He has no business making an appearance." If that's what you're thinking, I hear you. But respectfully.
The Rock doesn't need a reason to show up places, he just does so whenever he pleases. The man was at WrestleMania a few years ago just so he could set a giant metal version of his name on fire and announce the attendance record. He even made an appearance at a Boston live event a few months back. A live event!
On any given night, Rock's music could hit, he could cut a promo, maybe make fun of one of the heels, and go on his merry way and no one would question a thing. He oozes charisma and entertainment. If WWE wants to add a little extra oomph, albeit by doing something that has no long term consequences, they could call up Rocky and throw him into the ring for 15 minutes or so. Why not? Stranger things have happened.
Number. 3 - Luke Harper and Erick Rowan
Last we saw, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were not on the same page. They had just come out of a messy breakup of the Wyatt Family and were beginning what has become a pair of obviously unsuccessful singles careers. But now that they've been off TV a while and have no direction whatsoever, maybe a reunion is in their best interest.

So what place would they have at SummerSlam? Sure, they could make their presence known after the tag title match. But their more likely place right now would be in the Fashion Police storyline. After the latest edition of Fashion Peaks, all we know is that Arn Anderson killed Tully the horse and Fandango either was, or believes he was abducted by aliens.

But who really took out Fandango? Could it be the team of Harper and Rowan? After all, they have a mean streak and could use something to do. Assuming there actually is an end game to this whole Breezango situation and they're not just making it up on the fly, this could be it. It could be a perfect way to reintroduce the two big men to the fans.
Number. 4 - Paige
For a while, it seemed unlikely that Paige would ever set foot in a WWE ring again. Between the video leak, her relationship with the WWE-bashing Alberto El Patron, and most importantly the issues with her neck, her WWE career looked over. But according to Paige herself, she's going to be returning soon.

It's unclear what her medical status is or if she'll be cleared to return by the time SummerSlam rolls around.
But even if she's not, assuming she expects to be cleared in the near future, she could still appear in a non-physical role. She could bolster whichever Women's division she jumps into (Raw probably needs her the most) and she would create a huge moment in Brooklyn if her music hits.
Maybe she shows up and knocks Alexa Bliss' lights out after the Women's title match. Maybe she does the same to Naomi.
There are plenty of possibilities if Paige shows up at SummerSlam, all of which would create a memorable scene.

Number. 5 - Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho just recently made a return on SmackDown Live. So while this wouldn't be the most shocking return of all time, it would still get the crowd on its feet, just like it did a few weeks ago.

WWE RAW 14 August 2017 Highlights HD - Monday Night Raw 8/14/2017 Highlights HD

WWE Raw Results:

— The show opened with a lengthy video package summing up Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose’s story to date, including Rollins turning down a reconciliatory fistbump from Ambrose last week. Then Ambrose hit the ring and demanded answers from Rollins. Rollins said he was done playing games, and extended his fist. Ambrose rebuked him, but eventually stuck his own fist out, which Rollins rebuked. The two then began brawling. They were interrupted by the team of Cesaro and Sheamus, who beat both of them up. Eventually, Ambrose and Rollins ran the tag champs off before finally joining fists, to the delight of the crowd. Raw GM Kurt Angle then came out and made a championship match between both teams at SummerSlam this Sunday.

1. No. 1 Contender’s Match: Sasha Banks defeated Nia Jax. Alexa Bliss watched the match from a lifeguard’s chair at ringside. Jax dominated Banks for a majority of the lengthy match, but Banks was able to make her tap out to the Banks Statement on its second application following an innovative reversal.

— Backstage, Angle was speaking with the Hardy Boyz when the Miz and the Miztourage interrupted, asking what he was going to do about Brock Lesnar attacking all of them last week. The Miz said he was going to fight Jason Jordan tonight, then all of the sudden, a referee appeared telling Angle there was a problem with Bray Wyatt and Finn Bálor, and the GM ran off.

— After the commercial break, Angle found Bálor and Wyatt fighting backstage, and told them they were going to have their SummerSlam match tonight.

— Elias was in the ring and sang a song about how terrible Boston is. He was interrupted by R-Truth, who was then beaten down. Elias then walked off with his guitar.

— Big Cass entered the ring standing in front of a shark cage and began recapping his feud with Enzo Amore and the Big Show, to incredibly loud boos. He was interrupted by Enzo Amore, who reminded Cass he had been knocked out by Big Show two weeks in a row, who then came out and got in Cass’ face. Cass attacked Amore, Show attacked Cass, then Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson came down and beat up Show. Cass smashed Show’s hand in the shark cage door.

2. Cruiserweight Championship Match: Akira Tozawa defeated Neville (c). Neville locked Tozawa in the Rings Of Saturn then had it reversed for a very close two-count. He then went up for the Red Arrow but missed when Tozawa moved. Tozawa then delivered a top rope senton bomb — his third of the match — for the victory. Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews hit the ring to celebrate with Tozawa.

— Backstage, an injured Big Show told Enzo Amore he wasn’t going to miss SummerSlam, regardless of his potentially broken hand.

— In the locker room, Emma told Mickie James she isn’t getting the same opportunities as other women. James told her to put her phone down and face her in the ring later that night.

3. Bray Wyatt defeated Finn Bálor. Bálor went up to the top turnbuckle for a Coup De Grace, but Wyatt was able to knock him off and connect with Sister Abigail for the victory. After the match, Wyatt hit a second Sister Abigail then dumped a bucket of blood all over Bálor.

4. Mickie James defeated Emma. James connected with the Mick Kick for the pinfall victory.

— Backstage, a blood-covered Finn Bálor left Kurt Angle’s office and informed Charly Caruso that the two would have a rematch at SummerSlam this Sunday, and he will be reviving his Demon persona for the match.

5. Jason Jordan defeated the Miz. The Miz was accompanied by Maryse, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. Dallas and Axel interfered in the match when Jordan was about to hit his finishing move, giving him the DQ victory. Jordan was saved by the Hardy Boyz, which led to…

6. The Hardy Boyz and Jason Jordan defeated the Miz, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. Matt Hardy hit the Twist Of Fate on Bo Dallas, followed by Jeff Hardy connecting with the Swanton Bomb, for the win.

— Raw’s main event was a confrontation between WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and his three SummerSlam opponents: Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, and Braun Strowman.
